NEWS - NEWS - NEWS Delays in the finalisation of grants The EYF secretariat regrets to inform grant beneficiaries that the assessment of activity and financial reports will be delayed for at least 6-10 weeks. To reduce this delay, please make sure that you provide all the information requested (see reminder for grant beneficiaries below). Priorities for pilot projects funded by the EYF in 2012 At its meeting in Budapest on 17-19 October 2011, the Joint Council on Youth adopted priorities for general pilot projects (Category D) and pilot projects on Human Rights Education (Category D-HRE) to be supported by the EYF in 2012 (link to priorities). Projects must be submitted at least 3 months before the start date. Please read How to apply for a Category D grant for more details. Reminder There is no fixed deadline for presenting pilot project applications (Category D and D-HRE). They must be submitted online at least three months before the start of the project. Youth NGOs wishing to present applications for pilot projects (Categories D and D-HRE) taking place in 2012 should refer to the priorities for the Council of Europe's youth sector for 2012-2013 (pdf). Next deadlines for grant applications 1 February 2012: Category C and C bis (administrative grants) for 2012 (see conditions). 1 April 2012: Category A and Category B projects taking place between January and June 2013. Important: NGOs must first of all be registered (i.e. have a four digit login) before submitting an application. If you are not yet registered and wish to submit a Category A or B project, please register well before the deadline (at least 20 days before). Please read "How to register". Youth NGOs applying for financial support for Category A and B projects should refer to the priorities for the Council of Europe's youth sector for 2012-2013 (pdf). Please read the conditions for a Category A or Category B grant before applying, notably concerning partners if you are not an international NGO. Grant applications will not be processed unless the following information is provided: 1) Draft preliminary programme for a Category A project 2) Information on partners for a Category A or B application from a local/national NGO (please read the instructions). Please note: Youth NGOs wishing to apply for a study session at the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg or Budapest can find the application forms on the Youth website.
