Registration is the first step in the process of applying for a grant.  It is the first point of contact between your organisation and the Secretariat. We therefore strongly recommend that you fill the registration form in as accurately as possible.  Once our team has gone through your registration form and is satisfied that you meet the requirements, you will then be able to fill in an application form.  Please read through this section carefully which explains how to register and the steps that will consequently follow if your registration is successful. If your registration has already been accepted then please refer to the section on how to fill in the application form.  If you were previously registered with the SFYM your organisation’s details have been transferred to the new system.  You do not have to re-register.

How to register

A computerised registration process has been put in place by the Mobility Fund by Rail for the Young and the Disadvantaged (MFRYD) in order to optimise the grant application procedure, the monitoring of projects and administrative follow up. Organisations that fail to register will not be able to submit their project applications to the MFRYD online.

Click on the Registration page and enter detailed, accurate and up to date information about your organisation. If necessary, during the registration process, press the SAVE button at the bottom of the registration form. The system will then generate a temporary username and password that you can use to access your data at a later stage and continue registration.

When logging in again with this temporary username and password, you can find your registration form by clicking on the Modification menu in the Organisation Section.

NOTE:  By pressing the SAVE button, your information will NOT be submitted to the MFRYD.

Below are some practical guidelines to help you complete the form.

(!)  Warning! ALL fields marked in red are mandatory.

Give the full name of your organisation and its abbreviation (acronym). This name will be used in ALL future correspondence with the MFRYD. Specify whether your organisation has a local / regional / national or international dimension. Provide a brief description of your organisation, its aims, structure and activities.

Organisation location

Please specify your organisation contact details for further correspondence: street name, town, country, postal code, e-mail etc. If your organisation has multiple addresses, please make sure you indicate the right address of office/representation to correspond with the MFRYD and indicate only one e-mail address.

NOTE:  Since most communication with the MFRYD will occur electronically, it is imperative that you indicate a valid e-mail address to ensure correct and prompt feedback

Please also make sure that you keep the information on your organisation up to date (change of address, e-mail, contact persons, etc.).

Contact person

top

It should be noted that the process of registration and further correspondence entails frequent contact between the recipient organisation and the MFRYD. Therefore, the person(s) responsible for projects and contacts with the MFRYD should be clearly identified. If necessary, you may use the blank fields in same section to specify two or more names of the persons in charge of communication with the MFRYD.

Statute

top

You must attach a copy of your statute in either English or French. Simply click on the BROWSE button and specify the file on your computer or network to be attached. Once the name of your file appears in the right field, click ATTACH.

NOTE:  Only one file can be attached per session; therefore, please make sure that the information you wish to send is compiled in one file.  The fund does not ask for official governmental recognition of your NGO.
